The Independent Media Commission (IMC) in cooperation with the Kosovo Center for Gender Studies (KCGS) and the Agency for Gender Equality (AGE) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Memorandum was signed by Mr. Luan Latifi - Chief Executive Officer at IMC, Ms. Edi Gusia - Chief Executive Officer at AGE and Ms. Luljeta Demolli - Executive Director at KCGJ. On this occasion, representatives of the three institutions were satisfied with this agreement, and pledged to achieve the goals of the Memorandum objectives.

The memorandum aims to define the modalities, instruments and ways of cooperation between the signatory parties, in order to develop activities in promoting gender equality in the media.

IMC, AGJB and KCGS will be engaged in the implementation of research projects on topics related to the promotion of gender equality in the media, the organization of activities related to human capacity building in terms of promoting gender equality in the media, the organization of activities awareness-raising, conferences and roundtables on the issue of gender equality.

The signatory parties will also enable the use of the technical and human capacities of the office, through the provision of expertise in the framework of the implementation of joint projects.

All research and analysis from joint projects will be published and will be at the service of the public and media professionals.
