The Independent Media Commission (IMC) has held an extraordinary meeting today at 14:00, after the situation created by the detention by law enforcement agencies of two public officials of the Executive Office of the IMC.

In this meeting, the Commission discussed the situation created in the Executive Office and after the review requested an interpretation from the Legal Department of the IMC, on how to proceed further according to legal obligations.

The IMC reiterates its readiness to provide full co-operation with justice institutions in order to assist in the conduct of investigations until the end of the case.
