The Independent Media Commission, on October 7, 2021, held the next meeting with the Kosovo Police and the representatives of the Distribution Operators, regarding the fight against piracy in the audiovisual field.

The purpose of the discussion was the inter-institutional agreement in the fight against piracy, according to the competencies of the respective institutions, taking into account the complexity of combating this phenomenon (due to rapid technological developments).

In conclusion, the possibility was discussed to sign an inter-institutional cooperation memorandum in order to facilitate future cooperation, to address all specific requirements and needs related to combating online piracy in the audiovisual field.
