The Independent Media Commission (IMC), on November 9, 2021, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the IMC, Mr. Xhevat Latifi, has held the fifteenth regular meeting for this year.

Following the approval of the agenda and minutes from the last meeting, according to the agenda, the Commission has addressed several requests in licensing cases.

The reviewed cases concerned requests for licensing of media service providers through the distribution operator, change of ownership, termination of the license and change of the license category. The reviewed licensing cases are listed as follows:

• VGN - Recommendation to reject the license application - after reviewing the Committee concluded that not all legal criteria of the IMC were met, therefore decided to postpone this application for review for another meeting.

• Radio Plus - Recommendation for change of ownership - after reviewing the Committee concluded that not all legal criteria of the IMC were met, therefore decided to postpone this request for consideration for another meeting.

• Radio and TV Iliria - Recommendation for change of ownership - after reviewing the Commission concluded that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

• N.SH. Klinet - Recommendation for termination of the distribution operator license - after reviewing the Commission concluded that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

• Radio Dardania - Recommendation for change of ownership - after reviewing the Committee concluded that not all legal criteria of the IMC have been met, therefore decided to postpone this request for review for another meeting.

• TDS LLC - Recommendation to terminate the license according to the notice for renunciation of the license - after reviewing the Commission concluded that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

• Radio CAMPUS - Recommendation for changing the license category from local to regional - after review the Commission concluded that not all legal criteria of the IMC were met, therefore decided to postpone this request for consideration for another meeting.
