The Independent Media Commission (IMC) has followed closely the content recently broadcast in the media, namely First Chanel television.

Based on legal obligations as a regulator and public concerns related to the images presented on First Chanel television, IMC has initiated the monitoring and evaluation of displayed content, which may conflict with IMC legislation.

The IPC regarding this case will transparently inform the public about the actions taken in implementation of the IMC legislation.

IMC asks the providers of audio-visual media services to be careful when broadcasting live programs and shows, regardless of their format, and to take concrete actions to avoid the manifestation of violence and the use of vulgar and offensive language.
