The purpose of this organization was to raise the awareness of media representatives regarding the concepts and standards related to sexual violence and sexual assault, the role of the Institute for Forensic Medicine in the justice system and the importance of sensitive media reporting in cases of sexual assault and sexual violence. This roundtable is organized by the Institute for Forensic Medicine and the OSCE Mission.

The participants in this discussion table were from the field of media, representatives from local media agencies as well as media officials, who presented the views of the institutions they represented regarding the topic of the seminar.

The part of the presentation of the IMC was on the topic "The role of the media, media institutions and journalists' associations in the implementation of applicable legislation, ethical codes for journalists and reporting standards" where it was discussed about the principles and standards of media regulation based on in IMC legislation focusing on the principles of the IMC Code of Ethics for Audiovisual Media Service Providers.
