The Independent Media Commission (IMC) has issued the Guide to help licensees to act in accordance with Chapter VIII of the Law on Elections as well as the Law and by-laws of the IMC during the election process in the Republic of Kosovo.

KPM informs the providers of audio-visual media services that during the campaign and electoral silence of the local elections in the four municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo: North Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zveçan and Zubin Potok, the licensees of KPM who follow the campaign and the elections, must act in compliance with the legislation of the IPC as well as with:

• The KPM's guide for media conduct during elections
• Chapter VIII Law no. 03/L-073 for the General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo

Also, in accordance with the Law on Elections, the licensees are obliged to submit to the KPM the diaries for elections:

• Diary A ends free of charge
• Diary B ends with payment

The diaries are completed according to the Guidelines for Diaries A and B for local elections and submitted to the KPM, including the price list applied during the elections.
