Chairman of the Commission Mr. Jeton Mehmeti accompanied by the member of the Commission Mr. Fatih Basha and Mrs. Gentiana Çavdarbasha are participating in the annual meeting of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA).
The host of the 59th meeting of EPRA is the Dutch Media Commissioner (Commissariat voor de Media) and the main topic of the work is media education during election campaigns and Artificial Intelligence in the work of media regulatory authorities.

On the first day of work, the EPRA Strategy 2024-2026 was approved, which is based on three main values: independence, informality and cooperation.
IMC as a full member of EPRA participated in the voting for the new strategy as well as in the voting for the election of a member of the EPRA board.

During the two days of work, the representatives of the IMC also held numerous bilateral meetings with the regulators of other countries, such as the meeting with Mrs. Maria Donde from the regulator of Ireland, with whom the IMC will collaborate this year in relation to the regulation of video distribution platforms.
Other bilateral meetings were held with the representatives of ERGA, the European Audiovisual Observatory and the Council of Europe.
