On September 5, 2023, the Independent Media Commission hosted representatives of the international organization International Media Support (IMS) in a meeting. In this meeting, the Chairman of the IMC, Mr. Jeton Mehmeti has informed the delegation of the latest developments in the media ecosystem in Kosovo, emphasizing the commitment of the IMC in preserving media pluralism through new by-laws on transparency of ownership and prevention of media concentration. On the other hand, the representative of IMS Mr. Andreas Sugar has said that his organization is doing an analysis of the media situation in the Western Balkan countries, with the aim of launching projects to support the media in the region.
